Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they represent original or extended work previously unreleased for open publication, and that any official sponsorships have been duly acknowledged and cleared. Before submission, please ensure your paper is prepared strictly using the official Kanayagan Template (MS Word).

• Language: Written in clear, grammatically correct Indonesian and English.
• Length & Word Count: The manuscript must be at least 10 pages long (including tables, figures, and references) with an estimated word count of 5,000 to 8,000 words.
• Page Setup & Margins: Prepared on A4 paper size with margins of Top: 2 cm, Left: 1.5 cm, Bottom: 1.5 cm, and Right: 1.5 cm.
• Typography: Set in Calibri 11 pt, 1.15 line spacing, Justified, with a single-column layout throughout the entire article. Each new paragraph must start with a 0.75 cm first-line indentation.
• Reference Management: Authors must use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote adhering strictly to APA Style.

Title

Brief, specific, concise, and direct (Maximum 15–20 words). Must refer directly to the main focus of the community service article without acronyms or abbreviations.

Author Information

Full name(s) without academic titles, author affiliations, countries, and official email addresses.

Abstract & Keywords

Abstract: Maximum 250 words (without citations). Must concisely state the primary objective, community service/action research design, implementation methodology, tangible outcomes/impact on the target community, and conclusion. Includes abstracts in both English (ABSTRACT) and Indonesian (ABSTRAK).

Keywords: 3 to 5 specific words or phrases separated by semicolons.

Section Structure

• INTRODUCTION: Clear background detailing the context of the activity. Integrates previous theoretical bases, relevant community service projects, creative interventions, or cultural/art-based pedagogical developments. Explains the community gap or social issue addressed, states the novelty of the approach, and concludes with a clear purpose statement. Citations follow APA style (e.g., Ridhwan, 2025).
• METHODS: Describes the methods and activity stages concisely, systematically, and comprehensively (e.g., workshops, training, mentoring, or platform development). Details the community service analysis, target group clarity, and measurable success indicators.
• RESULT AND DISCUSSION: Combines the reporting of results and analysis simultaneously. Emphasizes the concrete benefits/impacts achieved by the community rather than just repeating raw data. Includes a comparative analysis supported by fresh academic references and visual documentation.
• CONCLUSION: Summarizes the program's primary achievements and answers the community service objectives. Includes strategic suggestions, recommendations, or policy directions for future community service projects.
• AUTHOR’S STATEMENT & ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Includes a formal declaration confirming the absence of conflict of interest and verifying that the work is free from plagiarism. Formally acknowledges sponsoring institutions, funding schemes, or partner community groups.
• REFERENCES: Every cited work must be listed. Minimum of 20 references, dominated (at least 80%) by primary sources (peer-reviewed journal articles) published within the last 5 years following APA Style.

Corresponding Author: One author must be designated as the corresponding author and provide an official e-mail address and full institutional address.

Figures & Tables Standards

Figures: Numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1. Title). Captions appear below the figure along with the explicit source (e.g., Source: Writer’s Documentation 2026). All figures must be explicitly referred to in the body of the text.

Tables: Numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1. Title). Styled in APA format with single horizontal lines under the caption, column headings, and table end (no vertical borders). Include the explicit source below the table, and refer to all tables within the body text.

Plagiarism & Similarity Threshold: Authors are required to submit an official similarity check report (e.g., Turnitin) with a maximum tolerance limit of 20% similarity. The similarity sheet must be uploaded under the "ADD A SUPPLEMENTARY FILE" section during submission.
